There is no eligibility criteria to write the CMA USA exam but there is eligibility criteria to earn CMA Certification i.e.
- Active membership in IMA
- Passing Parts 1 and 2 of the CMA exam.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or a related professional certification (at least within 7 years of the passing of the CMA US Course.)
- Two continuous years of professional experience in management accounting or financial management, which can be completed after passing the exam, but are required as a final step to certification
